First of all, if you are reading this you have a problem. I last updated this in 2009? If you have been waiting for a new post that would be nothing short of amazing. I m writing because at our school we have started a writing self-expression class / project for our students and I like that idea a lot . Today I need to express my ideas about our society in a few word sentence. Our society has castes.

Well, as I was going through my facebook account i saw that i had a blog..me ? a blog? yah its there and i guess i wrote on it twice with a few uploaded pictures. Well not that i have a reader, but i plan to write on this again ha. anyways at least its 2009 and i updated this thing.

We begin the question Why

As a teacher i found the question why to gain the greatest response and the most long winded dialogues that sometimes made little sense.

To be honest, it is the summer time and i am off. This has made me reflect on what to do with my time. It leads me to read, organize lessons, go to my own classes, enjoy time with emily, explore the city, get back to some things i ve missed. Second, i ve found that xanga is old world Not like that great italian bakery which makes old world pastries and smiles or that columbian place with that great sense of culture and color.

After a year after graduation i finally find myself free, more i find with emily we have landed somewhat. after a year that flew by we finally have the chance to breathe and go for forth as thinking people which we can do anything we want to do, to eat/buy ,even to starve to do whatever we please meaning we can create an identity . This leads me to what i discovered in jail(where i teach my immate students; which i do enjoy)...is that for them they need SELF-actualization ; they must be asked

who are you? they may say i m a male i m black im in jail, but we wanted more we ask again who are you/what is you?
that is the question that is posed today to me.
I learned a lot about the realities of reality this year, somedays i would crash on the couch just ask emily. Other times i would eat and then crash on the couch ,just ask emily. KNow i find myself ready to face the challenges in order to grow in knowldge to find and to seek things of true value...like going to a farmers market in Jackson Heights
